Cooking Measurement Conversion Made Easy

Ever picked up a recipe book, only to discover the ingredients are in either metric or imperial measurements and you find yourself searching for cooking conversions?

To make life easier for you we have taken the most commonly used quantities used in cookie baking and given you the equivalent measurements.

Our cooking conversion tables give the equivalents for commonly used cooking measurements, including cup measurements.

If a recipe gives you both metric and imperial measurements as well as cup amounts, follow one set of cooking measurements not a mixture. Remember they are not interchangeable.

Oven Temperatures

Temperatures vary from oven to oven, so always check your cookies carefully to avoid overcooking. The temperature within the oven can also vary, so move the baking trays around halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.

If you want to cook two trays of cookies at once, place one tray on a higher shelf, allowing room for the air to ciculate. Then swap the trays halfway through the cooking process.
